Sarah Pranger MS, LLMFT

Professionally, Sarah has been helping individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities lead fuller and more community-engaged lives since 2009. She began working with small therapy groups with her local Intermediate School District to establish behavior plans and then worked in the home setting to assist families implement those behavior plans at home too. In 2012, she graduated with her master’s degree in psychology, with a focus in child development, and is a Limited-License Marriage and Family Therapist, Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, and EMDR trained. Led by a passion for rebuilding families, she and her husband developed Beacon Therapies into a premier provider of community and home-based rehabilitative services. Sarah specializes primarily in servicing individuals with traumatic brain injury and workplace injuries. She provides vocational consultation, training, placement (frequently working collaboratively with small business owners to optimize community placement), workforce education, and inclusion for her clients. Additionally, she provides Therapeutic Recreation as a modality to improve and maintain physical, cognitive, and social function post-injury.

When she is not working or completing additional training, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and five children. Together, they maintain a small family farm with a wide range and ever-expanding number of animals.

Tasha Deeds PT, DPT

Tasha received her Bachelors in Biology in 2009 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. For the past seven and a half years, she has worked in a private outpatient clinic. She has worked with orthopedic conditions, sports rehab, and hand therapy. She also has a special interest in individuals with Parkinson’s, MS, post-CVA, balance disorders, and other neurological conditions. She is a certified LSVT, a program specific for those with Parkinson’s. She has taught core fitness classes and one on one fitness/injury prevention consultations. When she is not working in the PT world, she is running her farm with goats, chickens, pigs, and a fresh produce delivery business.

Nickey Torrey

Nickey Torrey is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness Specialist, Group Fitness Instructor, and Certified Nutrition Coach. Her health, personal fitness journey, and natural passion for helping others led to wanting everyone to feel their healthiest, physically and mentally. Nickey is relentless in her desire to educate and research each client’s needs, concerns, and restrictions to best build a program specifically for them. Nickey is the mother of two amazing kids, Keller and Macy. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, dancing, and searching for adventures with her family and friends.

Brian Bliss, BA

Brian received his BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2014, and went on to become a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer. Brian provides a unique blend of psychology and physiology to our programs to create an optimal physical/cognitive rehabilitation experience. Brian brings a calm and steady demeanor to our rehab programs with his easy smile that clients quickly look forward to from week to week. When Brian is not busy making our programs awesome, you can find him in a local gym, promoting his personal training business, Bliss Fit Training.
