Grooming For Good! is a pet grooming educational and training program that operates out of the Beacon Center, providing our community with superior pet grooming services, and providing job training and community inclusion opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
How We Do It
On Mondays and Wednesdays, Grooming For Good! partners with Beacon Therapies to provide space and training from our skilled, professional pet groomers to offer job and vocational training for individuals with disabilities.
How You Can Get Involved
On Mondays and Wednesdays (by appointment only) Grooming For Good! offers discounted pet grooming services in exchange for opportunities for students to groom your fur babies. It’s a win/win arrangement! Individuals with disabilities receive meaningful inclusion in their community with a rewarding work experience, and the community receives great services for their furry friends at a discounted rate!
Pet Photos
Our client-staffed dog grooming station is run in the back half of the Beacon Center and provides service to the community by helping to make sure every precious puppy and daring dog looks, smells, and feels their best!

The Beacon Center is located at 10740 Old Hwy 27 S Waters, MI 49735. Just off of I-75, on Old US Highway 27, south of Gaylord across the street from the Waters BP. Grooming is by appointment only. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call (231)-499-8066.
